The Dhaba is one among few old restaurants who have retained their appearance, same oily marble top or wooden tables, noisy fans which are at service for at least 25 years. You can see them cooking kebabs or Rolls and Rotis beside you. But sadly the one thing has deteriorated is the quality of food. While the other dhabas present in Kolkata has changed themselves along with the taste of people here. But yes The Dhaba still have retained a good position as they still serve very good biryani and Non-Veg Side dishes.

They serve Chinese food also but you are being requested not to waste Money, Time and Energy on them as The Dhaba is famouse for their Indian dishes. The Chicken Amritsari Butter Masla is one not so very popular dish but they cook it very well and their Butter Masala dishes of Chicken or Mutton both are very tasty. Keema Nana and Tandoori Roti is a good combination. Quantity of food is pretty good here.

The staffs are not that helpful and they have to urge to serve you better. Recently they have opened a A.C section also but the price has been increased in the menu card only service and taste are all the same.
