In Saltlake area Aahar is a very popular restaurant just because of their good and tasty food. And during Durga Puja their Biryani and other fast food items sells like hotcakes. The Early birds gets the best pieces of mutton in Biryani, and seriously they served solid pieces of meats each time we visited this place. And in Non-Veg Noodles also you will found chunks of prawn, chicken, egg etc. This is best thing I like about them.

Though the ambiance is not that good, And in the afternoon of Summer this place is too troublesome to have meal. And the seating arrangement is also very clumsy. Sometime The smell and hot smoke of spices can also be felt, as the kitchen is adjacent to the dining place.

In Saltlake they are most popular Home Delivery Restaurant, They serve for free in any corner of Saltlake for bill amount above Rs.200. In Saltlake many student or office goers stays as paying guest, so for them Aahar is like a god. As they serves hand made Roti and Tarka Whenever they need it and their delivery system is very fast in deed.

Biryani is not that good, too oily and rich smell of Keora water. The Chicken noodles is ok but not that tasty. A bit disappointed.
